The Jim Creek Trail is accessed from the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Outdoor Center parking area, located across Highway 40 from the Winter Park Ski Resort. One may ski or snowshoe up the trail Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are allowed in much of the Sulphur Ranger District. Camping at the Jim Creek Campground is by reservation only between May and September. The Winter Park Ski Resort is across Highway 40 from the Jim Creek and the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Outdoor Center.
Snow must be at least 6" deep before snowmobiling is allowed. Natural resources must not be damaged.
