Medicine Bow (#965)
The Medicine Bow Trail can be accessed via three different trails from the Link-McIntyre Trailhead. The southern access is 7 miles via the Link Trail #963. It can also be accessed by taking the McIntyre Trail #966 4.5 miles to Housmer Park then traveling 3.9 miles along the McIntyre Creek Trail #996; or by following the McIntyre Trail #966 for 9.2 miles until it meets the Medicine Bow Trail #965 at Ute Pass. The 15.3 mile trail follows the Medicine Bow Divide north to the boundary of the Rawah Wilderness. The 11 miles between Ute Pass and the Link Trail is the most commonly used section. The trail may be hard to follow on some sections. It periodically offers panoramic views of North Park to the west, the Laramie River Valley to the east, Wyoming to the north, and Rocky Mountain National Park to the south. Outside of hunting season the usage of this trail is light.

General Information
Directions: Travel 11 miles northwest of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287 to Colorado Highway 14. Turn left on CO 14, and travel 52 miles to County Road 103, Laramie River Road. Turn right and travel north about 16 miles to County Road 80C, Glendevey Road. Turn left and travel about 3 miles to the Link and McIntyre trailhead parking on the left just north of the Browns Park Campground and across the creek.Activities
