West Magnolia
West Magnolia Trailhead provides access to eight miles of singletrack trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding west of the Peak-to-Peak Highway south of Nederland. An additional eight miles of Forest Roads are open seasonally (check the Road Status Table before your visit) to motorized and non-motorized activities. Along these roadways are designated campsites. Camping is allowed in designated campsites only. There are no facilities of any kind.
The free Boulder Ranger District Motor Vehicle Use Map displays National Forest System (NFS) routes open to motorized travel and is available online. NOTE: The roads in this area are seasonal and are closed to motorized vehicles from November - May.

General Information
Directions: From Nederland, head south on Colorado Highway 119 for 2.8 miles. Turn west onto County Road 132W. Limited parking is available just off of the highway, or continue one mile west and turn south through the second Forest Service gate to the main trailhead parking area.Activities
Mountain Biking
West Magnolia Trailhead offers 8 miles of non-motorized trail and 8 miles of roads for endless loop opportunities over the hills south of Nederland. This is one of the most popular mountain biking destinations on Boulder Ranger District. Riders can connect these trails with those at Front Range Trailhead via a short segment of Magnolia Road east of Colorado Highways 72/119.| Difficulty Level: | Easy to Difficult |

Dispersed Camping
West Magnolia is a dispersed, multiple-use area. Twenty-two numbered, designated campsites are scattered along NFSR 355 and its offshoots within one mile of CR 132W. Camping is permitted in designated sites only.

Day Hiking
Numerous looping, interconnected trails meander over the hilltop at West Magnolia. The network of criss-crossing roads and trails is popular for hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders.

OHV Road Riding
All motorized vehicles must stay on legal routes designated for motorized use at all times. Motor Vehicle Use Maps include all legal motorized routes, and have been established for all ranger districts of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National National Forests. They are free of charge and updated annually.
