Hassell Lake (#84)

Elevation: 10,708 feet - 11,379 feet

Trail Description: The trail to Hassell Lake is short and steep. The trail gains 800 feet in the first mile. The lake is only a few acres in size, but offers great views and a variety of wildflowers.

General Information

Directions: From I-70 west, take exit 232 to US 40,proceed northwest approx. 9 miles to small town of Berthoud Falls. Turn left at the sign for Jones Pass/Henderson Mine. Follow paved road to Woods Creek Road #146 turn left, drive 2 miles and park at Upper Urad Reservoir.
