*The recreation area remains open, but other portions of the Crow Valley Recreation Area are closed due to the flooding of Crow Creek. Please read and abide by all warning signs in the area.
A great place to get away and enjoy the grasslands. This oasis on the prairie has cottonwoods which provide some shade and small meadows, and is surrounded by northeastern Colorado's short-grass prairie. There are ample opportunities for sports and recreation for the whole family.
Located 32 miles northeast of Greeley or 14 east of Ault, just off State Highway 14, turn north on Weld County Road 77, travel 1/4 mile to the campground entrance on the west side of the road. Camp hosts are available most weekends to answer your questions.

||Briggsdale, 0.5 mi. east on Hwy 14, has a general store and gas station; Ault, 24 mi. west on Hwy 14, has a variety of shopping and dining options; and Grover, 22.5 mi. north on CR 77 and east on CR 120, has a general store.
