8 shady campsites nestled at the base of the Salt River Range. A short trail near this campground leads up Swift Creek to Periodic Spring, a phenomenon that causes water to flow for 18 minutes, then stop for 18 minutes. One faucets, no hook-ups. 16 day stay limit.

Swift Creek Campground

From the Town of Afton, Wyoming, head North on US-89 (South Washington Street) making a right turn on East 2nd Avenue, follow the road for about a mile which then turns into County Road 128 (CR 128). Continue on County Road 128 then in turns into Forest Service Road 10211 for .5 mile where you will see signage for Swift Creek Campground on the right.
