7 shady campsites are nestled at the base of the Salt River Range right along the musical Swift Creek just outside Afton.A single faucet is available at site 1, and an accessible toilet is provided in the center of the campground. Large picnic tables welcome family groups for meals.

General Information


Swift Creek Campground

Starting from the Town of Afton, Wyoming, head North on US Highway 89 (South Washington Street) making a right turn on East 2nd Avenue, follow the road for about a mile which then turns into County Road 128 (CR 128). Continue on County Road 128, the road will then change name to Forest Service Road 10211 (FS-10211), follow this road for .5 mile where you will see signage for Swift Creek Campground on the right.
