Curtis Canyon Campground is a great place to camp if you want to be close to town but still off the beaten path.  This wooded campground is located above the National Elk Refuge and a quick walk from your campsite will reward you with amazing views of the Refuge and the Teton mountain range.  Hiking, mountain biking, OHV riding and horseback riding are all easy to acheive just minutes from the campground. There is one dumpster and food storage box abailable.

Curtis Canyon Campground Description:

From the Town of Jackson, Wyoming, head towards West Broadway Avenue (US Highway 189) and continue East passing Cache Street for approximately 1 mile. At the end of West Broadway Avenue, turn left onto North Elk Refuge Road and continue on the road for approximately 3.5 miles, then make another left turn at Twin Creek Ranch Road to continue on North Elk Refuge Road. After 1 mile, make a right to Sheep Creek Road, follow Sheep Creel Road for approximately 3.5 miles where you will see signage for Curtis Canyon Campground on the right.
