Elevation: 6177 ft at Trailhead at Camp Cr, 7313 ft at head of drainage

Trail Highlights:
- This trail leaves from the main Horse Cr Trail out of Camp Cr Inn, before dropping down to the road. The trail skirts along the hillside and enters the canyon. There are several tight and overgrown spots in this first mile of trail so take extra caution especially if you have stock.
- The trail follows up the drainage, offering nice views of the surrounding peaks. Eventually the trail starts to peter out in the upper meadows and divides into a network of elk and hunting trails.
Options:
- There are really no main connections or loop opportunities off of this trail. There are most likely connections that one could make into the main Horse Cr canyon on user trails but no system trails exist that provide any other connections.
