Trail Highlights:
- This trail follows the North Fork of Ditch Cr, from the west and then follows Carmichael Fork of Slate Creek through meadows and timber connecting with both the Aspen Cr Trail #4086 and the NW Slate Creek Trail #4215C that accesses the slate Creek Valley to the south.
Options:
- This trail has three access points. There are other loop options off of this trail as it connects to trails #4086 and #4215C. Loop options exist with other trails in this area such as the Slate Creek Motorized Trail System.
Important Information
- All of the Carmichael Fork Trail is located within the western portion of the Mount Leidy Highlands and is not open to motorized or mechanized vehicles. This trail is located on USGS quad maps for Shadow Mountain and Mount Leidy, 7.5 minute and is located in prime Grizzly Bear habitat.

This trail can only be accessed from the Middle Fork Trail #4087 via the Upper Ditch Cr Road/Trail #30350 and 4209B or the NW Slate Cr Trail #4215C via the Slate Creek Trail #4215 from the Slate Creek Trailhead. This trail also has a jct with the Aspen Cr Trail #4086.
