Trail Highlights:

  • This trail starts from an unsigned junction just after crossing Willow Cr.  The trail heads up through thick forest until reaching a small meadow.  The main trail stays left here and gets up on the sidehill, you will see a small post marking the way.  There is a faint trail in the bottom of the drainage, but it is difficult to follow and has some rough spots along the creek.
  • The trail climbs through thick forest for many miles and can be difficult to follow in spots.  The trail was cleared by the Forest Service in 2012 and is slated to be worked on more in 2013.  The trail continues to climb until climbing the ridge and coming down through the open hillside to meet up with the Grayback Parallel.  Again the trail is very faint so know your route well before going.

Options:

  • This trail can be used as a loop with the Willow Cr Trail and the Mumford Cr Trail or the Grayback Parallel Trail.
