FACILITY IS CLOSED FOR REMAINDER OF 2015  per Closure Order.  Closure is due to hazardous conditions as many trees continue to fall. Hazardous conditions exists throughout the entire Canjilon Recreation Area. NO PUBLIC ENTRY ALLOWED (no fishing, camping, hiking, or any other activity is allowed).  The Canjilon District Ranger is assessing and analzying the entire recreation area.  Public safety and safety of employees is the number one priority.

48 campsites near the shores of six small ponds at 9900' with 2 picnic spots above at Upper Canjilon Lakes.
