Ochoco Forest Camp is a quaint campground located on Ochoco Creek and just off of FS Road 42. There are plenty of opportunities for adventure stemming from this one location. Nearby recreational outlets include: Hiking or biking on Lookout Mountain Trail, and relaxing by fishing, swimming or paddling at Walton Lake. There is also a group shelter that can be reserved for large group gatherings

Per night, per site fee: $14/first vehicle; $7/each additional vehicle. This is a concessionaire operated facility, and concessionaires are not required to recognize all Forest Service Passes.

Pets must be on a leash no more than 6 feet in length. Quiet time is from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Campfires must be fully contained in fire rings or grills provided at the campground.

From Prineville, Oregon travel 16 miles east on Highway 26. Turn right at the junction to Walton Lake and Big Summit Prairie (County Road 23) and travel 9 miles to Ochoco Ranger Station. Turn left just past the Ochoco Ranger Station office onto FS Road 2610, proceed across small bridge and take a right into the Ochoco Forest Campground.
