Simax Group Campsite

*This campground will be closing for the winter on 09/30/2012*

Simax Group Campground might be our most popular group campground and for good reason, it is one of the nicest campgrounds in the Deschutes. This site on Crescent Lake was designed to be fully accessible for those with disabilities and is the first of its kind in the Northwest. Waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing, are the many attractions offered by this lake.

Group Camping

2 sites can accommodate up to 40 people and 1 site can accommodate up to 30 people.

It has large group sites and a covered 24' by 40' meeting area that can be reserved along with your site. Site A is a little less desirable since it is not directly on the water and is a little bit smaller. Site A also only has four picnic tables and the others have five. The parking for Site A does not have RV parking in front of the site, but there is extra parking close by. RV users are better off reserving B or C. There is a large bathroom with showers. The water system is pressurized. There is good cell phone coverage along with paved roads and spurs. The campground has a nice beach with easy water access.
