Deer Lake Trail

The Deer Lake Trail is a relatively easy trail within a shady forest canopy and is popular among mountain bikers and equestrians. This trail begins on the north shore of Little Cultus Lake and ends at Deer Lake. However, some recreators choose to continue on to Cultus Lake Trail, where Deer Lake Trail leaves off (past the wooden bridge, over a creek) to Cultus Lake. Oftentimes, this trail is ridden as part of the Cultus Lake Loop.

The Deer Lake Trail is outside the Three Sisters Wilderness; however if recreationists enter the Three Sisters Wilderness by connecting into the Many Lakes Trail #15Winopee Lake Trail #16 or portions of the Metolius-Windigo Trail #99 a wilderness permit is required. See "Permit Info" below.
