Cinder Hill Boating Site (South)


Area Status: Closed

East Lake, in Newberry Caldera, is a popular recreation lake in a setting of wooded shorelines, sandy beaches, and brilliant blue-green water.  This boat launch is on the northeast side of the lake with a paved ramp, docks, and a parking lot.

There is a 10 mph speed limit for motorboats.

Recreation Fee Site: Parking at this site requires a recreation pass. Passes are NOT available at this site, but can be purchased from Forest Service offices or vendors. Please check here for more information about recreation passes and where they can be purchased.
