Looking for a family-oriented campground tucked away in a mountain cove? Paint Creek Campground, located in Greene County along the banks of Paint Creek is the place! Most of the widely-spaced campsites have streamside views and are well screened with native vegetation. While visiting, try your hand at fishing for trout in Paint Creek (seasonally stocked).

Fees Camping is $10 for single site (18 sites), $20 for a double site (2 double sites).

Restrictions: Group size is 5 people, 2 vehicles per site. (10 people, 4 vehicles in double sites).  No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the area.

Restroom: Vault Toilets
Operated By: Forest Service Volunteer Campground Hosts help manage the area and can provide visitor information.

Directions:

From Greeneville, take TN 70 south for 11.2 miles, turn fight on Rollins Chapel Road and then follow the signs to Paint Creek.

Campground Camping

Paint Creek Campground offers camping opportunities for tents and RVs.  Most sites can accommodate trailers and RVs that are 40-60 feet.

Reservation Info Sites are first come, first serve and non-reservable.
Fire Information There is a grill/fire ring at each campsite.
