The new Gull Rock Trailhead was completed in 2012. To access the trailhead turn south from the Hope Highway on the signed road before the entrance to the campground.

General Information

Directions:

Travel south on the Seward Highway and turn onto the Hope Highway at Milepost 56.7. The campground is located at Milepost 17.8 off the Hope Highway.

Area consists mostly of birch forest, Turnagain Arm overlooks.


General Notes:

Opportunities include hiking and a spectacular view of Turnagain Arm. The campground is located near the Gull Rock Trail and Hope Point Trail.
