Caribou Creek Cabin
A 12 x 14-foot rustic cabin on Resurrection Creek surrounded by spruce/birch forest with views of nearby mountains.
This cabin sleeps 6 and has a table, wood stove, splitting maul, crosscut saw, and outhouse.
Not included: running water, electricity, mattress or bedding, cooking utensils, or cut firewood.

Restrictions: | Resurrection Pass Trail is closed to motorized vehicles from May 1- November 30 and will be closed to motorized vehicles during the 2010-11 winter season. Resurrection Pass Trail is closed to pack/saddle stock from April1- June 30. |
General Information
Directions:Caribou Creek Cabin is located on the Resurrection Pass Trail and is 7 miles from the north trailhead. The last mile of road before the trailhead is not plowed in winter. This cabin can be accessed by hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, skiing, and snowmobiling (during open seasons).

Big Game Hunting
Wildlife includes moose, black and brown bears, Dall sheep, mountain goats, caribou, and wolves. Hunting for these species in designated seasons. Fishing is poor in this area. Review Alaska Department of Fish and Game hunting and fishing regulations.

Safety InformationSome winter travel is required through avalanche run-out zones. Inclement weather may cause an unexpected extension of the trip. Bring extra supplies to last 2-5 days. Bringing a personal cooking stove is recommended. Bring initial supply of water. Boil surface water 5 minutes before drinking. Remember to pack out your trash. You can contact a U.S. Forest Service office to receive more detailed information on safety precautions.
