Armijo Trail 222
The Armijo Trail 222 is 1.9 miles long and can be accessed from Cienega Equestrian Trailhead, by way of Cienega Horse Bypass Trail 266.
Armijo Trail terminates at Faulty Trail 195.

General Information
Directions:Cienega Equestrian Trailhead:
From I-40 and Exit 175 drive toward Cedar Crest/N-14. Follow N-14 for approximately 6.5 miles, to NM 536 aka the Sandia Crest Scenic Byway. Turn left onto 536 and follow it for about two miles.
- Turn left at the Cienega/Sulphur Picnic Area sign.
- Stay to your left and follow the road for about .30 miles.
- Look for the sign marking the Equestrian Trailering area. You can access Armijo Trail 222 from there.
If you choose to pass the Equestrian Trailering area, and continue up the road to Cienega Picnic area parking lot, you will come to a "T". Look to your left at the "T". Access to Armijo Trail 222 is at the end of the road leading to the left.
