Located approximately 22 miles from Medford, this 15-unit campground lies on the western shores of the Mondeaux Flowage. Campsites have a parking spur,fire grill, and picnic table. Drinking water and accessible vault toilets are provided.
Campsite fee is $12, or $6 with use of Interagency Senior or Access Pass. Interagency Pass discounts apply only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party.

Our firewood closure order prohibits the possession, storage, or transport of any firewood that originates from more than 25 miles from your campsite. Firewood certified by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Transportation and Consumer Protection can orginate from more than 25 miles from National Forest destination. Both certified firewood and Kiln-dried, untreated/unpainted/unstained/construction/dimensional lumber that is free of any metal or foreign substance is approved. Pallet boards are not approved.
The USDA Forest Service honors all four Interagency Recreation Passes that may be applied at National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Fish and Wildlife sites charging recreation use fees. Directions: Travel north from Medford for 4 miles on State Hwy. 13. Turn left (west) on County Trunk Highway M for about 7 miles. Turn right (north) on County Trunk Highway E for 8.5 miles, then turn right (east) on Forest Road 1563 for 1 mile. Turn right (east) for 1 mile to the campground entrance.
