This popular lake is in a setting of low wooded hills. The lake is connected by water thoroughfares accessible by small boats to three other lakes. There is a boat dock and concrete boat ramp. There is also a small beach by the campground. Fishing, camping, hiking, swimming, water-skiing, and canoeing are some recreational activities found there. This lake has mixed ownership of both private and federal lands.

From Colville, WA: Head east on HWY 20 for approximately 20 miles to the Colville National Forest campground sign. Turn right onto Pend Oreille Lake rd and go 1.2 miles to campground entrance.
