This popular nordic trail system offers rolling terrain with a few steep pitches and goes through stands of Douglas fir and ponderosa pine. The trails are groomed weekly during the winter months and are part of the Washington State Sno-Park System. To download a map go online to www.parks.wa.gov/winter. The trails also provide opportunities for mountain bikers and horseback riders.

From Newport, WA: Follow U.S. Route 2 across the Pend Oreille River into Idaho and turn north on LeClerc Road (county road 9305). Continue on road 9305 for 7.5 miles to the intersection with Indian Creek Road. Turn east and continue on Indian Creek Road for 1.5 miles to trailhead.
