Town Creek OHV Trails

The Town Creek OHV Trail system is located north of the City of Greensboro Ga. The trail consists of 15 miles of trails in two loops,one for ATV's and one for motorcycles and bicycles. Closed when raining, snowing or wet. 

Open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during deer archery hunting season and turkey hunting season

CLOSED DURING RIFLE/ GUN DEER SEASON (October 21, 2023 – January 14, 2024)

Busiest Season: Spring-Summer
Restrictions: Loop A is for two wheeled vehicles only. Loop B is for ATV's and Four wheelers. Jeeps, SXS and other such UTV type vehicle are not allowed. Riding is not allowed when weather, including rain, snow, ice and freezing, creates conditions that causes excessive damage to trail. No Fireworks on the National Forest! Possessing, discharging or using any kind of fireworks or other pyrotecnic or explosive device. 36 CFR 261.52 (f) ls and resources. 36 CFR 261.55(a)  Closed during gun deer season. Open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during deer archery hunting season and turkey hunting season.
Closest Towns: The nearest town is approximately 6 miles, or 15 minutes, south in Greensboro, GA.  Here riders will find restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.

General Information

Directions:

From exit 130 on I-20, head north on Lake Oconee Parkway into downtown Greensboro,GA for approximately 2.7 miles. Turn right onto US 278 and travel .1 of a mile and turn left onto N East St. which turns into Penfield Rd. Travel 3.8 miles to Town Creek Trail follow signs to the trail head.

OHV Trail Riding

ATV's and all other Motor vehicles other than two wheeled are prohibited on Loop A.(Roberts Bike Camp)

Primative camping is allowed at the trail head for Loop B.
