Experience this 5.0-mile trail #400 near Downey, Idaho. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and horseback riding, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through November. Dogs are welcome and may be off leash in some areas. This trail connects to Trail #402 and Trail #404.

General Information
Directions:From Pocatello: Take I-15/US-30E/US-91 towards Inkom/Salt Lake City for 30 miles. Take exit 36 US-91 towards Downey/Preston for 0.3 miles and turn right onto N Old Hwy 191 for 2.2 Miles. Take a left onto Cherry Creek Rd and continue for 1.7 miles. Keep right on S Cherry Creek Rd doe 5,9 miles. Arrive at destination, on left hand side.
From Malad: Hope on I-15 N for 4.5 miles. Take exit 22 towards E 8400 N/Colton Ln. Turn right onto E 8400 N/Colton Ln and continue for 5.3 miles. Turn right onto E Guidinger Rd/E Gunniger Rd and continue for 2.6 miles. Take a right turn onto S Cherry Creek Rd and continue for 5.2 miles. Destination will be on your left-hand side.
