Palisades Creek Campground is nestled in the Palisades Creek Canyon. Hiking the trails and fishing Palisades Creek and the Upper and Lower Palisades Lakes will keep you busy all day. Trails in this area are in the Palisades Backcountry and are non-motorized; ATV's and Motorcycles are not allowed in the campground. Palisades Reservoir and the South Fork of the Snake River are minutes away from the campground. Palisades Creek flows through the campground which has 5 single units and 2 double units. Full time campground host located on site. Firewood is for sale at campground.
$12/Night for single unit, $24/Night for double unit, $6/Night for extra vehicle and Day Use Fee is $6/day.

Interagency Senior Pass and Interagency Access Pass will receive a discount on Single sites only.
Palisades Creek Area offers two trailheads; one for trucks with horse trailers and another for single vehicles (hikers), which has a restroom provided and a bridge that leads to the Palisades Creek trail.
Directions: From Swan Valley go 7 miles east on US 26, then 2 miles northwest on Forest Road 255.
Palisades Creek is closed for fishing from April 1 - June 30. Palisades Lakes are open year around and the trout limit is 2. Please refer to the Idaho Fish and Game 2011-2012 Fishing Seasons and Rules handbook.

Horse Riding & Camping
Travel the Palisades Creek Trail #84 to the Lower and Upper Palisades Lakes. Want to make an overnight trip out of your ride? At the peak of the summer take a hike in the Palisades Creek area and see the abundance of wildflowers and you may even catch a glimpse of some wildlife.
