General Information

Directions: The trail is located 7.5 miles north of Island Park Ranger Station. From Highway 20, turn west on Sawtell Peak Road and drive for approximately 13 miles up the mountain. Sawtell Peak Road climbs 3,440 feet in elevation to the top of the peak. The trailhead is 1.7 miles below the peak marked at a bend in the road.
