Holly Bay Trail #481

Holly Bay Trail #481 is located near Holly Bay Campground on Laurel River Lake. Paralleling KY 1193, this trail connects Forest Road 132 with the Sheltowee Trace at Forest Road 611B. It intersects the Holly Bay Campground entrance road as well as Forest Roads 616, 611A. Starting at the Holly Bay Campground entrance road, it can be combined with the Sheltowee Trace (Trail #100) and Trail #482 to make a loop of about three miles.

Laurel River Lake is located on London Ranger District and features 5,600 acres of clear, deep water and nearly 200 miles of tree-lined shore. The quiet coves and cliff-lined shores offer relaxation and quiet reflection, as well as boating, fishing, skiing and scuba diving in one of the deepest and cleanest lakes in Kentucky.

Holly Bay Campground, a US Fee Area, is located on the west side of Laurel River Lake, about two miles north of Laurel River Dam. 

Holly Bay Marina is a full-service marina offering rental boats, camping and fishing supplies, fishing licenses, and maps of the lake.

Directions:
From I-75, at London Exit 38, turn west on KY 192, go 14.2 miles, then turn south (left) on KY 1193, go 3 miles to trailhead at Forest Road 132.
