Beaver Creek Wildlife Management Area

The Beaver Creek Wildlife Management Area provides habitat for a variety of wildlife species. This 17,753-acre area is managed under a cooperative agreement between the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and the U.S. Forest Service. The wildlife management area surrounds the Beaver Creek Wilderness on the Stearns District of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The terrain is steep and mountainous. The habitat consists mostly of mixed hardwoods with approximately 150 acres of open fields (92 percent forest, 7 percent open land, and 1 percent open water). There are no developed facilities.
