Cawood Picnic Area

Cawood Picnic Area is located along a creek shaded by large hemlock trees. The site amenities include grills, picnic tables, horseshoe pits and toilet facilities. This area once served as a Civilian Conservation Corps camp during the 1930s. It is located on the Redbird District.

Directions:Located approximately 3 miles north of the junction of KY 221 with US 421 in Leslie County, just north of the Harlan County line.
