Sheltowee Trace Trail #100 Section 6
Section 6 of the Sheltowee National Recreation Trail, located on Cumberland District, begins at KY 32 and ends at US 60, occurring entirely on paved public road. This stretch of trail provides places to pick up supplies or have lunch.
Follow KY 32 to the right (north) after leaving the trail, traveling under I-64 to the stop light. This is the entrance to the Trademore Shopping Center. Take a left at the light and an immediate right down a hill. This is Bluestone Road. The trail then follows paved Bluestone Road along the east side of the North Fork of Triplett Creek several miles to U.S. 60.
Bluestone Road is a scenic route that provides one of the few places where road bicyclists can ride on the Sheltowee Trace. This is a very narrow section of road with several blindspots, so be careful of traffic.
Once reaching US 60, turn left and continue along the road for about 1 mile, looking for Sheltowee Trace signs on the right. A white farmhouse is across the street on the left; an open field with a suspension bridge on the far side is on the right. From US 60 to the woods is private land.
