Whittleton Arch Trail #217 leads to Whittleton Arch. The trail is approximately one mile from Whittleton Campground on the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail #100 section 14. This section is also known as the Whittleton Branch Trail. This trail is located on the Cumberland District of the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Whittleton Arch is recorded as the largest arch by mass in the Red River Gorge Geological Area.

Directions:

Exit the Mountain Parkway at Slade (Exit 33). Follow KY 11 south 1.8 miles to Whittleton Campground on left and trailhead parking area.

Parking is available at the trailhead at Whittleton Campground.
