Campground Camping

Prairie is the first campground that you come to as you leave Hwy 97 and head into the crater area of Newberry Monument. This campground is still outside the Monument area itself where you do have to pay a small fee to visit. It is a good one for those who would like to pull off Highway 97 as they travel north and south or would just like to take a break in a nice area without a lot of other campers.  There are toilets and picnic tables in the area.
