Cow Meadow Campground

This campground features a large grassy meadow with mostly lodgepole pine trees providing shade. It is right on the river, but close to Crane Prairie Reservoir. The campground is situated where Snow Creek and the Deschutes River flow into the Crane Prairie Reservoir. This area offers outstanding fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. Crane Prairie Reservoir is managed in partnership with the Bureau of Reclamation.

The primitive boat launch is only large enough for small boats.

10 MPH speed limit is enforced for boating on Crane Prairie.
