South Twin Lake Campground

  

The campground at South Twin Lake offers opportunities for fishing.  The lake is screened by heavy forest, and generally stays relatively windless and calm.

There is a boat launch area adjacent to this campground.

Reservations: Reservations can be made through Recreation.gov.
Fees Per night, per site fee: $18/first vehicle; $9/each additional vehicle. NOTE: Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to the following discounts on expanded amenity recreation fees: -  A 50 percent discount on the fee for a single camping unit. This discount does not apply to use of a cabin, lookout, double camping unit, triple camping unit, group camping unit, extra vehicle fees, or any additional camping units and separately charged utility, water, hook-up or day use fees.

Directions:

From Bend, OR: Travel 26.8 miles south on Highway 97 to Wickiup Junction, then 11.0 miles west on County Road 43, then continue 4.6 miles west on Forest Road 42, and finally 2.0 miles south on Forest Road 4260.
