Camping & Cabins
The campground is nice, better than Princess Creek, but not as nice as Trapper Creek. That is especially true if you are camping in an RV. The campground does have a pressurized water system. This is an early opener for fisherman, weather permitting. This campground has the longest season of any except those that are open year around. Because this is a popular campground it is recommended that you get here early in the week. Vegetation at Odell Lake is dominated by large Douglas fir, white fir, spruce, and hemlock. This type of vegetation is typical on the west side of the Cascades because of the climate. Due to its orientation and location adjacent to Willamette Pass, winds can be quite brisk on Odell Lake and whitecaps occasionally form.
