On Crescent Lake, this group site offers opportunities for waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, sunning, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing.  There is an option to reserve the entire site for your group.

Restrictions: Maximum site spur length is 60 feet.  42 people maximum, 12 cars maximum, 6 RVs maximum, 2 cars = 1 RV.  No overnight camping within 100 feet of waters edge.  Campfires are not allowed during high fire danger.  ATVs AND NON-STREET LEGAL MOTORCYCLES ARE PROHIBITED IN THIS CAMPGROUND.

Information Center: This is a non-hosted area, but an attendant will be visiting from two to four times per day. If the gate is locked please contact the host at either Spring Campground or the Crescent Lake Resort. 541-433-2505. From Crescent, travel 12.2 miles west on County Road 61, then 3.5 miles north on Hwy 58, then 7.4 miles west on Forest Road 60.

Group Camping

Windy Group Campground is on the opposite side of Crescent Lake from Simax. It is not nearly as nice, but about half the cost and you can reserve the whole campground for your group. The roads are gravel/dirt. There are four picnic tables with a BBQ as well. RVs will have no trouble finding a place to park. The campground is just past the Whitefish Horse Campground and before the Spring Campground.  Site can accommodate up to 42 people.
