Pink Ledges Trail #33074 is an interpretive trail that begins and ends near the Red Canyon Visitor Center

The Pink Ledges Trail is an easy to moderate half mile hike beginning at the restored Podunk Guard Station and ending at the Hoodoo Trail junction west of the visitor center.

This hike is perfect for those who have a limited amount of time or don’t want anything too strenuous. The trail winds along the north side of the canyon through a shady pine forest and contains a few moderately steep rises along a sloped pathway. Hikers will be treated with a close-up view of the incredible geology and plant communities that make Red Canyon a natural wonder.

Trail Safety: Be sure to have good sturdy footwear and take along plenty of water to avoid dehydration. Please stay on established trails to protect this fragile ecosystem.

Trailhead: The trailhead for Pink Ledges Trail #3074 and for this Interpretive Guide is located at the Podunk Guard Station at the east end of the parking lot. This trail can also be used to connect to the Hoodoo Trail

Directions:

To access this trail, go to the Red Canyon Visitor Center which is located approximately 4 miles east on SR 12 from US 89.  The Pink Ledges Trail is an easy to moderate half mile hike beginning at the restored Podunk Guard Station and ending at the Hoodoo Trail junction west of the visitor center.


Accessibility:

The trail winds along the north side of the canyon through a shady pine forest and contains a few moderately steep rises along a sloped pathway. This trail is not wheelchair accesable or for people with limited mobility.
