Area Status: Open
Located approximately 35 minutes west of Klamath Falls, Oregon, this campground features one vault toilet and six campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. There is no user fee, nor any potable water, so bring plenty of drinking water. Large ponderosa pines, Douglas firs, and an abundance of natural vegetation provide cover and privacy between campsites.
A steep boat ramp for small boats is available to access Klamath Lake through a water channel. There is no dock, so be prepared to wade in the water to board your boat.
Odessa’s peaceful and secluded setting is situated on the Klamath Basin Birding Trail and affords many opportunities to view birdlife.
June and July are heavy mosquito months, so bring bug spray.
There is no camping fee or potable water. Visitors need to bring an adequate supply of water.
