Big Meadow Snow Shelter

The Big Meadow Snow Shelter was built for recreational enthusiasts for weary cross country skiers and snowmobilers alike to enjoy a place to take a break and grab a bite to eat, or just enjoy the beautiful views of Pelican Butte or McLoughlin Mountain.  The shelter is maintained by the Klamath Basin Snowdrifters and is equipped with a wood stove to warm up with on a cold winters day and counter space to organize your lunch feast.

This shelter is only available and accessible during the winter months for over snow travel.
