Trail #17 Stabler Camp
This 2.6 mile trail begins in a young tree plantation on the north side of Forest Road 9337, about 0.5 mile from Forest Road 93. Watch for the sign post along the uphill side of the road. The trail winds gradually through a forest of silver fir and subalpine fir, passing through a series of small meadows. The trail continues through another plantation before ascending a slope and crossing Forest Road 9331, which is closed to motorized use. You then climb 0.25 mile to the junction with Craggy Peak Trail #3.

Directions:From Cougar, WA take Forest Road 90 east to Forest Road 25. Go left on Forest Road 25 and head north to Forest Road 93. Stay right on Forest Road 93 and follow to Forest Road 9337 and go left and follow to the trailhead.
