Trailhead: Indian Race Track - South
Provides access to: Indian Racetrack Trail # 171 and the southern portion of Indian Heaven Wilderness.
Limited parking off to side of the gate on Forest Road 6048 for 1 or 2 vehicles. Please do not block the gate. Trailhead is 3 miles up Forest Road 6048 from parking at gate. This trailhead also accesses Red Mountain and Lookout.

General Information
Directions:From Trout Lake, WA head northwest on Highway 141 and continue on Forest Road 24 at the forest boundary. Continue on Forest Road 60 at the intersection. Follow Forest Road 60 for about another 10 miles to Forest Road 6048. Forest Road 6048 is gated. The trailhead is at the end of Forest Road 6048 near the historic Red Mountain Lookout site.
