This Trail Open to Hiker and Equestrian Use.

Tombstone lake trail #55 in the Indian Heaven Wilderness leaves from the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000 near the east shore of Blue Lake and ends 0.5 mile away at Tombstone Lake. The lake and trail likely got their name from the rock jutting out of the small lake, which to some, resembles a tombstone.
