Trail #194 Dry Creek

This Trail Open to Hiker and Equestrian Use.

This 4 mile trail runs north and south to the east of Trapper Creek Wilderness. This trail offers the opportunity to hike through an old-growth forest. Views of sparkling Dry Creek and the turbulent Bourbon Creek enhance this trail.

From Trapper Creek Trailhead follow Trapper Creek Trail 192.1 for 50 feet to Dry Creek Trail. This trail runs parallel with Dry Creek for an easy hike through pockets of old-growth forest. After about 4 miles, the trail crosses Bourbon Creek and then intersects Big Hollow Trail #158. This trail is an historic railroad grade.

Alert: This trail is within the Big Hollow Fire (2020) burned area. Hikers travel at their own risk. Please review safety tips for burned areas.
