Trail #10 High Camp
Trail is open to hiker and pack & saddle only.
This short 0.7 mile trail is used primarily as an access to climbing routes on the north side of Mt. Adams within Mt. Adams Wilderness. Accessed via Killen Creek Trail #113 on the north side of Mount Adams. The High Camp Trail ends in a high alpine meadow (6,928' elevation) with dramatic views of Mt. Adams, Goat Rocks and Mt. Campfire restrictions exist in other areas on Mt. Adams. Please see the Wilderness Regulations page for more information.
A Cascade Volcano Pass is required from May 1st to September 30th for anyone age 16 and older traveling above 7000ft elevation on Mt. Adams, even if not attempting the summit. For more information on climbing Mt. Adams, please refer to the Mt. Adams Summit page.
