Trail #157 McClellan Meadows
This Trail Open to Hikers, Bikers and Equestrian Use.
The trail follows the route of George McClellan's 1852 railroad survey. A popular but challenging mountain biking trail with a grades and stream crossings.
The trail runs from the lower trailhead on Forest Road 3053 to the upper trailhead Forest Road 65 near Falls Creek Horse Camp.

General Information
Directions:There are two access points to this trail.
Trailhead: McClellan Meadows-Lower
From Carson, Washington travel north on Wind River Highway to the Forest Boundary where it becomes Forest Road 30. Continue north on Forest Road 30 to the intersection with Forest Road 3053 at McClellan Sno-park. Turn right on to Forest Road 5053 and continue to the trail head.
Trailhead: McClellan Meadows-Upper
From Carson, Washington follow Wind River Highway north for abot 4 miles to Panther Creek Road. Turn right onto Panther Creek Road which becomes Forest Road 65 at the Forest Boundary Continue to follow Forest Road 65 to the intersection with Forest Road 60. Drive throught this intersection and continue north on Forest Road 65. Keep to the right at the fork in the road and continue north to the Horse Camp located on the left about 3 miles from the fork. The trailhead is on the left just past the Horse Camp.
