This Trail Open to Hikers, Bikers, Skiers and Equestrian Use.

This Trail Open to Hikers, Bikers, Skiers and Equestrian Use. The trail passes through the forest, descends into the Wind River Valley, and crosses a bridge over the Wind River. After the bridge it climbs up to a clearcut and intersects with Forest Road 3053. Many options exist to ski several different loops using this trail and connecting to trails #148, #150, #157 or #159 by using Forest Road 3053. The trail begins across Highway 30 opposite Oldman Pass Sno-Park. The trail is recommended for skiers with good downhill/uphill skills because steep hills require quick reactions and skill.

At a Glance

Permit Info: A Washington or Oregon  Sno-Park permit is required for each vehicle parked in the winter recreation areas. Vehicles without the appropriate Sno-Park permits are subject to notice of violation and fine. The access roads have Sno-park vehicle signs.  It is necessary to have a Sno-Park permit when parking anywhere past these signs.  Parking on shoulders may be unsafe.

From Carson, Washington travel Northwest on the Wind River Road to Oldman Pass Sno-Park, or Road 3053 from the McClellan Meadows Sno-Park.
