This is a nice, quiet and clean campground nestled among piñon and juniper trees.
The camp sites are nestled among mature piñon and juniper trees. It is tranquil and undiscovered with a few sites having a view of Quemado Lake. The campground is comprised of a family camping loop and a group camping loop.

There is a $10.00 fee for the tent site in this campground. This area is also used as a group campsite for which a reservation is required. Please contact Quemado R.D. for more info. Interagency Senior and Access Passes are honored for the tent site area only for 50% discount.
There is a 15 day stay limit for this campground. Fires permitted only in fire rings provided. All pets must be on leash, except within an enclosed area.
Quemado is 21 miles from the campground. The nearby Snuffy's Steakhouse and Cowboy Saloon, full of local color and character, makes a good place for a "cooks night off." There are also limited groceries available at Snuffys along with information about local events and activities.
Just west of Quemado, NM, take NM 32 south 14.2 miles to Quemado Lake/NM 103 sign. At sign turn left onto NM 103 and go 4 miles to where Forest Road 13 (gravel) begins. Continue straight on FR 13 for 1.4 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground. Maps are currently being developed for the campsite.
