Pool Creek #113


The Pool Creek Trail #113 begins at an intersection with the Parallel Trail #139 and ends at an intersection with the Old Roubideau Trail #105. This trail travels across the southern part of the Roubideau Area which was designated by Congress in 1993 as a wilderness study area to be undeveloped and closed to motorized or mechanized use.  It follows Pool Creek descending as it heads northeast to its intersection with the Old Roubideau Trail.

Directions:

From Montrose: Travel west on Highway 90 for approximately 23 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road #402, North Divide Road. Follow FSR #402 for approximately 6 miles to FSR #402.8F, Pool Creek Trailhead Road. Turn northeast onto FSR #402.8F and continue for approximately 0.2 miles to the end of the road. The Pool Creek Trail starts from the Parallel Trail just past the end of FSR #402.8F.
