Sheridan Crosscut #869.1A

The Sheridan Crosscut Trail #689.1A begins on Tomboy Road and ends at an intersection with the Liberty Trail #431. This trail climbs steeply for about the first 0.5 miles where it follows a series of switchbacks and continues to climb. At times the trail is narrow and occasionally overgrown. As you climb, views of the Bear Creek Canyon across the valley will come into view with its many waterfalls and jagged cliffs. Eventually, the trail opens up into a meadow and can be hard to follow, continue along the ridgeline for about 0.5 a mile until the trail is visible again on the left which will lead to an intersect with the Liberty Trail.
