Dented Door #248
The Dented Door Trail #248 begins at the end of Forest Service Road #562.1A, Dented Door Spur Road, and ends at an intersection with the Spring Creek Trail #116. This short trail connects to the Spring Creek Trail which will provide several loop routes when combined with the access roads. It travels through an aspen forest and is quite steep. Singletrack mountain bike riders enjoy the 25% downhill grade with its tall water bars.

Directions:From Montrose: Travel west on Highway 90 for approximately 23 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road #402, Divide Road. Turn south on FSR #402 and continue for approximately 10.6 miles to Forest Service Road #562, Dented Door Road. Turn north onto FSR #562 and continue for approximately 1 mile to FSR #562.1A, Dented Door Spur Road. Follow FSR #562.1A for 0.2 miles to the trail beginning.
